Georgina Loscalzo is a translator for Global Voices in Spanish. Her translation of the post “Fundraiser: Climbing a virtual Everest with the Global Voices Community” from English to Spanish has been nominated for the Lingua Translation Spotlight.

Publishing the translation of this post was time-sensitive (it had to be published within 24 hours), and after a message to the group, Georgina started working on it. And she did a great work! The result was that GV-ES was able to publish the translation no less than 24 hours after the original English post.
