Arif Innas is a volunteer for Global Voices in Bangla. His translation of the story “Bangladesh reassesses its Belt and Road Initiative strategy with China as the US offers a new alternative” from English to Bangla has been nominated for the Lingua Translation Spotlight.

Once a quarter, Lingua Translation Managers select one or two outstanding translations that deserve a special round of applause. Rezwan, the Bangla Lingua Translation Manager, said he nominated Arif's translation because it was the most read story on the Bangla-language site at Global Voices in recent months.
